After trying to get her pictures taken at Sears and paying $15 for a sitting fee during our waste of time there, we tried out 
Picture People at Mayfair Mall.

A small "bigger belly" update :)

In this past week, I have been starting to feel Christian's hiccups!- its so sweet. And last night I felt braxton hicks contractions for the first time. This is all exciting for me because all of these little things are reminding me how much closer it will be until I get to meet him and hold him and snuggle him! I have already made Dan get out all of our infant supplies out of the attic so I can look through it and remissness on the days of nursing and taking care of Tahlia. I really did not care for the infant stage too much but oddly, I find myself missing it. I hope I can enjoy it more the second time around. I made a list of things we will need for Christian's arrival and have already started getting things here and there. I am super anxious to get the double stroller I have had my eyes set on :) and I am strangely excited to get ready for nursing him (I bought a manual pump that I am "pumped" to use! lol)

The guests that come into Coopers Hawk are staring to notice I am pregnant and that is pretty awesome. And my OB appointment revealed to me that I gained 5 more pounds!! That is the largest weight gain I have had since I have been pregnant so I am happy I am starting to put on the weight I should.

This week we will be meeting with a midwife to discuss our options on payment and what not for a birth center birth (Because I just found out our lovely insurance does not cover midwives/birth center/ home birth). I pray it will all work out because it has been my dream to give birth in the water since I knew I wanted to have kids. I also made an appointment to tour St. Joseph's the day after meeting with the midwife just in case this option for a birth center birth does not work out for us at this point in time.

So, we have a busy week ahead of us and I hope to have some sort of plan for how Christian will be born into this world by the end of the week :)

Tahlia is growing up fast!!

Hello Everyone!

I have been meaning to post an updated blog on Tahlia for a while just to update you all on how big she is getting :) Within the past month, she started showing off her counting skills. She now says 1-10. She tries so hard at her ABCs but it comes out, "S,D,O,B"- not sure why lol. She has also been repeating a lot of things we are saying. She now sometimes calls her daddy, "Dan". Once, she heard me call him "hun" so she started looking for him saying, "hun...!, hunnn...!'' Her sentences are getting better and she is starting to make sense. Some sentences include: "Good Job Mommy" or "Good Job"(to herself)- the "good jobs" always include clapping. "I miss you", "Big bite", "Wait, where are you going?", "Where are you?", "alright", "all done", "Milk or Juice?", "Dinner time", "Lunch time", "SHOPPING!", "What are you doing?", "nite, nite ___", "Fall down", "Oh no! What happened?!", "Fix it", "Read book", and "I did it".

She does not really say, "I love you" or gives kisses. But she loves hugs! The other day we were at the Big Backyard and she climbed the rock wall up to the big kid playground for the first time!! Every time she seemed like she wanted to get down, I would ask her if she was all done and she said, "No" and continued trying. My hands were there to catch her if she fell but she climbed slowly but surely all the way to the top by herself! After that, I was comfortable with her being up there without me.

There was another time when I was giving her a bath. I realized one of her ducks was in a basket we haven't played with in a while. I gave her the duck (Which was a matching duck to a smaller duck). She had a big smile on her face and kissed the big duck and the little ducks beaks and kept on saying,"I miss you, I miss you. Muah!" It was THE most precious!

I realize this blog might sound like I am bragging somewhat but I truly do not want to come across that way. Basically, I really want to look back on this blog several months down the road and see what her progress was from now to then. And I hope you enjoyed it too :)

Thats right!! Dan and I are very excited to announce that we are having a sweet little boy and we have chosen to name him, "Christian Daniel Cerkoney". Christian looks very healthy and his weight is in the 74th percentile. Enjoy the photo's, we wont be seeing our little man until his birthday around February 14, 2012.

He looks so peaceful :)
