POTTY TRAINED!!!!!!!!!!

... well, sorta...

This is the story from 2 days past:

(but first, the follow-up of how we have been introducing her to the potty)
For the past month, every time Tahlia has a poopy diaper, we have been showing her where the poopy goes; we bring her to the toilet and we plunk the poopy into the toilet from the diaper and we say, "this is where our poopies go".

NOW on to the story!
Like every morning, I change her diaper almost right after she wakes up. And like every diaper changing, she is ultra squirmy and fussy. But this morning was a little different because I had a bright idea of not fighting to put a new diaper on her and just letting her run around naked. My logic was: "if she pees on herself then maybe she might see the concept of going to the bathroom a little clearer". I left her in her room reading a book while I went to make us breakfast. It wasnt long until I heard nothing... usually when you hear nothing coming from Tahlia's direction, it means she is up to naughtiness (yes, it can be possible for her to be naughty! lol). I go to her room... nope, not in there. I go into the living room... nope, not in there... I go back into her room, thinking that she might be hiding in the closet (she has been doing that a lot! lol) but nope, not in her closet! Lastly, I look in the bathroom...

There my little sweety-pie-angel is lifting up the toilet seat. As I approach her, I notice she has something in her hand... And as I look closer, sure enough- its her poopies!

I could not yell at her, she was only doing what we have been showing her (only in her own, simple way of course). So I just chuckled and told her "good job for putting your poopies in the potty sweety, but we dont touch our pooies, they are too icky!" lol

Dont worry, I cleaned her up... found the rest of her poopies in her room and then cleaned the infected areas. And after the incident, she was real anxious to go up to her changing table so I could put a diaper on her little toosh!

Good times had by all!
