Our try at cloth diapers

When I was pregnant with Tahlia, I had zero interest at looking into cloth diapers... in fact, people who gloated about their cloth diaper obsession annoyed me slightly. Now that I am pregnant this time around, something snapped... quite literally! Around my birthday I started toying with the idea of cloth diapers... looking for more information, asking around, looking up blogs, you name it! Before you knew it, I had a shipment come in with all of my cloth diapers and accessories! On 09.11.11, I started putting Tahlia in the new cloth diapers I ordered online!
Tahlia hated the cloth diaper and I figured this would be a good thing because I have been wanting to encourage her to potty train. Well, almost a month later... she now seems quite content in her new diaper! eh, whatchya going to do?? HA!
But this has been a great opportunity for me to prepare myself for baby #2 on the way!! And I must say, it feels great to not put "diapers" and "wipes" on the grocery list!! What a relief!

I bought:

Econobum diaper covers:
3-White trim, 3-Blue trim, 3-Pink trim and 3-Green trim.

24- Econobum cloth diaper inserts

Bumgenious Diaper pale kit and an extra diaper pale bag.

Bumgenious diaper detergent

2- Planetwise dry/wet diaper bags for on-the-go changes.

Bumgenious wipe starter kit and additional flannel wipes

And last but not least! A Bumgenious diaper sprayer!! (Best. Thing. Ever!)

Tahlia sporting her Econobum green-trim diaper! 9.12.11

Not very bulky at all!
{{And no, Tahlia does not have a bruise on her back... its a Mongolian spot she has had since birth. Over 90% Native American children and children with African descent have them, under 10% fair-skinned children have them. She also has some very light Mongolian spots on her butt and lower back.}}
