Snow Emergency

Driving to work was pretty bad! The roads seemed fine but 1/4 of a mile away from my exit, an orange Cobalt randomly spun out of control into the left side ditch, which is a median. He must have freaked out because there were a lot of cops up ahead taking care of another accident. In the car that was T-boned (to my left in the ditch) I noticed the driver had her head on her steering wheel... I hope she is alright... Needless to say I was a little shaken up after such a scene 1/4 of a mile away from my exit.

Near the end of my shift, the snow started slowing down and I was thankful for that because I had to drive to school. I was also thankful that I made it on time to class with 2 mins left to spare. On my way in I noticed a sign that said WCTC would be closing at 3... which was pretty sweet cause Id miss Economics :)

After class, I called grandpa Cerkoney to let him know I was on my way. It was 3:00 and I was surprised Dan was already awake- seeing he worked 3rd last night. I guess the National Guard was called up to help law enforcement in SE Wisconsin. I guess this shows me that I need to actually watch the news! I had no idea it was really going to be THAT bad. Looking out the window now, yep... its that bad.

I hope my husband stays warm and safe in the next 24hours that he will be gone. Maybe now, he will be able to get a free pass off of the drill he is suppose to have this weekend... most importantly, during the Superbowl.

On another note, I am not sure where our daughter got the love of the winter from... it was most definitely not from her mom and dad! :) Seriously!, while Dan was loading the CR-V to go, she opened the screen door to go outside. I was behind her the whole time but I couldnt believe she just kept on walking outside, even after feeling the bitter breeze. All she had on was her pair of shoes and clothes... no hat, no coat... and she through a little fit when I picked her up to bring her inside. So I told her that we had to get our snow suit on to go out and play... so we did :)

Here are the pictures! Enjoy!!

Getting those boogies :)

I dont think she could be any happier <3
