Memorial Day Week

We went to the Domes, dinner at El Baso and on Memorial Day I worked all day but when I got home we went to Dan Jansen fest. Tahlia did great on the rides and she was very apprehensive about getting off of them!- we definitely have to work on this cause the temper-tantrums are insane!

We are leaving for AZ in 3 days!!!!! I cannot wait! What a great way to end my small time off of school. The day after we get back, its back to the books for me (speaking of which, I need to get my books! lol). The classes I chose for this summer are going to be a little challenging but after getting an A in Econ and B+ in Psychology, I feel confident. I am just working my way up to the culinary-centered classes this fall! As for the classes I am taking this summer, they are: Sociology and Written Communication. Eeeks! :)

Dan is nearing the end of the current semester he is in, which is great because I hate the schedule he has. So that will be changing soon. He is currently taking Meteorology and Christian studies (he thought he'd "take it easy this semester"... even though school come easy to him to begin with... but thats what he said so... we will go with it)

I wonder if next week is my last week at the Princeton Club. I am just waiting to see what my schedule will look like at my new job before I figure that out.

Tahlia's new word yesterday was "friends". And today she told daddy, "my water". I am now able to put her hair up in a pony tail and she LOVES swings (she made my mom push her on a swing for and hour!). Dan and I are really anxious to see how she will handle the flight to Phoenix... I just hope people dont judge us too quickly on our parenting if she is a bit of a handful. We do our best and quite frankly, I hate the stares... like starring at me like that is going to magically help me control my independent toddler! All I want is patience from her and everyone else... after all, most of us were screaming toddlers for our parents too :)

On to pictures! Enjoy :)
