"Compass"

Today was such an awesome day!

1) I started my New Years resolution:  "becoming a morning person... AND going to bed early" Which I did pretty successfully! I went to bed at 2300 and woke up at 0600 to do Pilates. After that, I took a shower AND actually "did" my hair (which consists of blow drying it with some product... no ponytail today!!- Moe would be proud! HA! :-P )

2) The morning routine with Tahlia went pretty smoothly... except for her daily ritual of crying a turning when getting her diaper changed... but I digress... lol

3) Worked 1/2 day... got home, ate the awesomely-cool PB&J along side a glass of Ovaltine YuMmY!!!

4) Put Tahlia down for a nap just in time for me to start making dinner at 1500. I usually dont do this but because I plan a head and KNOW I have a test at 1645 @ WCTC.... so to avoid starving my family, I started din-din early. Which ended up being a VERY good thing because Dan forgot to mention one small, tiny detail to me... His first day of class was tonight!!! lol So he finished dinner while I ran out of the door to go take my test...
{{I was sad because I realized I wouldnt get any husband time tonight cause he would be gone from 1800-0700... but dont let me depress you, it actually gets better!!!! =)}}

6) I arrived at 1615 to take my Compass test. It felt so great when I finished!!! I was so nervous. When I walked out of the testing area and the lady had my results ready! It turns out I got 91% on Reading, 97% on Writing and ... well.... 69% in Math (but that is still so good because I needed to get at least a 45% in Math to pass).  Its just SO great to see these awesome scores! Its been almost 7 years now since I graduated HS and I didnt think this was going to be as easy as it was. Dan helped me study for the Math within the last couple of weeks, if it wasnt for him, I dont think I would have passed... I have the best husband in the world!- His prize???... Big hugs and kisses from me :)

7) I get home, get my baby and we are just in sync with each other (mommies and daddies out there know what I am talking about). It was a perfect balance of chores, mommy and baby play-time and getting ready for bed. Very mellow... very relaxing :) I even vacuumed the house! lol

8) At 2200, the door opens and it is DAN!!! YAY! (told you it got better!- you thought I was talking about my test didnt you??? huh? huh???) lol Anyways, he came to give me a quick surprise on his way to work :)
