We start this blog with a visit to the pumpkin farm. It was a beautiful fall day where we got to enjoy the changing leaves surrounding the Holy Hill area. It was incredible how busy Holy Hill was!! We went in (regretted going in) and turned right back around (which took us about 20 min to actually get out of the parking lot). The weather was in the high 70's- low 80's (very uncommon). I am sure everybody really enjoyed that but for me and my pregnant belly, it was hard to handle the heat next to corn fields but is was nice to see how much fun Tahlia had chasing chickens and petting the calf.

My little sister holding a chicken. She kept it away from me which was nice. |

Tahlia, letting the calf slobber all over her hands. It was actually pretty cute and the highlight of the day :) |

Tahlia loved talking to the baby goats: "BAHHHH!!! BAHHHHHH!!!!" lol |

Next up in our fall adventures, we took a family trip to the zoo! I LOVE the Milwaukee county Zoo, we definitely got our money's worth out of the zoo pass this year! :)
|
The new cubs are finally out and about with their mamma lion! Our first time seeing them behind glass (instead of a TV screen) |

There it is! |

Tahlia loves the choo chooo at the zoo, the only thing she will patiently wait for :) |

Daddy's first time on the train with us! |

"Hi friends!" |
|
"Hello!!" |
|
I think the "up and down"- as Tahlia calls it, is her favorite thing to go on at the zoo. Just look at that smile :) |

For a whole week, our family had the most horrible cold! Everyone seemed to have gotten it. So I took advantage of it and built Tahlia's first fort, made popcorn with her and we watched Wall-E. It was so much fun! And she seemed to love it too :)

We ended up eating that whole big bowl :) |

Our first pumpkin carving for the season took place at my mom's house, where Shannon and Tahlia got a chance to help :) It was fun but my mom and I obviously had to do most of the work.
